A Love So Beautiful

A Love So Beautiful is a web series adapted from Zhao Qianqian’s novel “To Our Pure Little Beauty”. This coming of age romance series pairs Shen Yue and Hu Yitian in their first leading roles. The series follows Chen Xiao Xi (Shen Yue) and Jiang Chen (Hu Yitian), neighbours and classmates from high school to university and adulthood.

Shen Yue is cute and endearing as Chen Xiao Xi while the tall, handsome Hu Yitian is the perfect foil. He brings the appropriate gravitas to the role of the brilliant, popular, career oriented Jiang Chen.

The series aired on Tencent Video from November 9 to December 7, 2017. It had a highly popular original run and catapulted the two leads to fame.

With more than 5.5 billion views on its online streams, this series remains a favourite. The 3rd China Pan-Entertainment Award Ceremony recognized the series as a “Top 10 Web Series”.
